SAENG PHOUTHONG
Hello Everyone! Lake Hopper here. First and foremost I want to Thank you all for your support by purchasing Illumi-Knotty Tackle LLC Trolling Flies. Now I want to share a little about my fishing history. It began about 20 years ago living in Arkansas. Out of boredom one day, I went out to a local lake called "City Lake", in Siloam Springs Arkansas. Not really knowing what to expect, I brought a newly purchased Walmart spinning combo, bobbers, hooks, and of course some Night crawlers. With the whole day to enjoy I figured what the hell and started casting where I felt fish would be hanging out. To my surprise I actually got a nibble. My bobber was bouncing pretty good, so I set the hook and caught my first Blugill. Nothing big, but still fun and different. A week or so later I went back to City Lake hoping to have some fun catching Bluegill again, but this day I caught my very first Bass, and it was giving a hell of a fight! After landing it I was hooked on fishing for life.
I love fishing so much I started to invest more time and money including rods, reels, line, lures, ect... I started watching Bassmaster to see what I can learn and hopefully pick up some usable tips and tricks. In short, I got into the tournament scene. Of course as time goes by I got into fishing for all types of fish species like Catfish, Crappies, Perch, Spoonbills, and even Garr.
Now that I'm in the PNW I have expanded even more of my fishing to include Salmon, Walleye, Kokanee, All Trout species, surf perch, squids and everything in between. I am the type of person who gives 150% effort in everything I do, so you can imagine the time, effort, money, and heart when it comes to fishing. I can go on and on telling you more about myself but I will keep it short and sweet. I can sincerely say, I have a PASSION and a Problem when it comes to fishing. It is worse than a drug because its all I think about, day in and day out.
In closing, I want to thank Roston for letting me be a part of the Illumi-Knotty Tackle LLC Family, I am very honored. See y'all on the lake, Lake Hopper Out!! See Ya!!! Check out my YouTube channel ->
PRO TIP: 1st Start off fishing points. 2nd Use Pink and Green color lures, that goes for dodgers as well. Tipping the hook with Berkeley gulp maggot. (one on each hook) 3rd Target fish that are a little above or below the thermacline because those are usually Kokanee, trolling 1 mph - 1.5 mph. Lastly, most important, you gotta be PATIENT! Keep trying, and never give up!
